These lovely dual purpose birds are fun and productive. As either meat birds, egg layers or pets they are eventually easily sexed by a distinctive drake feather that the male produces on his tail. They have excellent feed conversion and produce a hearty carcass - females can reach 8-9 pounds and males can reach 10-11 pounds. A female can lay up to 200 eggs per year. Ducks are straight run (unsexed.)
